Event support grant for organizers
Grant Purpose
If you are organizing a plant science conference, fair or other networking event, (Fascination of Plants Day, for example), then you can apply for funding from SPPS.
General rules
- You must be an SPPS member to apply. Join here!
- Your event must take place in the Nordic countries
- Your event must not coincide in time with the SPPS Congress, Early Career PI meeting, or SPPS PhD Conference. Dates will be announced on the website.
- The maximum amount applied for cannot exceed 50,000 SEK.
- You must offer a discount of the conference fees for SPPS members of at least 100 € or 25%.
- SPPS sponsorship must be acknowledge in webpages, social media, flyers, and other channels where the conference is announced.
- All successful grantees must submit a financial and scientific report at the end of the activity using the following forms:

Follow the link below to our application form and make sure to include the following attachments. Incomplete or faulty applications will be automatically rejected:
- A description of the event (max. 1 page)
- A clear budget divided in items with estimated costs and a justification for each item.
- A CV and publication list (max. 2 pages).
- Support letters (optional).
