General Information
SPPS offers various grants to support plant science specifically in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Estonia). Therefore, grant applications must show how the project, idea, or event contributes to this purpose.
- All applicants must be members of SPPS to be elegible.
- Travel grants up to 10.000 SEK can be decided upon at any time. Please allow a 2-4 week processing time before the start of the corresponding activity.
- Grants for larger sums are to be submitted at least 2 weeks before the next council meeting. Council meeting dates are announced in the SPPS homepage under 'Important dates'.
- Please follow the links below for specific grant rules and read carefully the evaluation criteria.
- All successful grantees must submit a financial and scientific report at the end of the activity using the following forms:
Evaluation criteria
SPPS will evaluate your application according to the following points:
- 1. Are you eligible for the grant you are applying for?
- 2. Does the activity promote plant science in the Nordic countries?
- 3. Is the proposal a good idea?
- 4. Is the budget reasonable in size and does it fit the planned activities?
SPPS does not provide feed-back if an application is rejected
