SPPS supports the Norwegian Plant Biology Conference 2026

NPBC 2026 brings together researchers in plants, macroalgae, and microalgae to explore mechanisms, applications, and solutions spanning molecules to ecosystems. It will be held at the Nord University, Bodø, Norway on June 18–19, 2026. There will be 4 sessions:

Plant & Algal Immunity, Stress Responses, and Environmental Adaptation

Signaling, Perception, and Interactions in Plants, Macroalgae, and Microalgae

Biotechnological Innovations and Emerging Tools

Restoration, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Ecosystem Management

Council meeting dates

The SPPS council meets 5-7 times per year. Next meeting will be held on the January 27th, 2026. Several additional meetings in 2026 are already planned for March 12th and May 19th.

SPPS Congress and ECPI meeting

The next SPPS Congress will be held from the 18th to the 20th of August 2026 at the University of Helsinki. A satellite meeting of the Early Career Network (ECPI meeting) will be organized in connection with the Congress.
